Pench Tiger Reserve nestling in the lower southern reaches of the satpuda hills is named after Pench River, meandering through the park from north to south. It is located on the southern boundary of Madhya Pradesh, bordering Maharashtra, in the districts of Seoni and Chhindwara.Pench National Park, comprising of 758 SQ Kms, out of which a core area of 299 sq km is the national park and and remaining 464 sq km is the buffer area. The Pench National Park, like it did in the iconic 'The Jungle Book', still brings humans in close contact with wildlife. Rudyard Kipling based Mowgli's adventures, and his battle with the furious Sher Khan, on this very place.It is divided by river Pench into nearly two equal parts. This magnificent expanse shelters over 285 resident and migratory birds. Pench National Park, with its majestic tigers and several other animals and birds, will bring back the thrill you used to have, when watching Mowgli battle Sher Khan.  

The Dudhwa National Park is a national park in the Terai belt of marshy grasslands in northern Uttar Pradesh. It stretches over an area of 490.3 sqkm (189.3 sq mi), with a buffer zone of 190 sqkm (73 sq mi). It is part of the Dudhwa Tiger Reserve in the Kheri and Lakhimpur districts. The park is located on the Indo-Nepali border in the Lakhimpur Kheri District, and has buffers of reserved forest areas on the northern and southern sides. It represents one of the few remaining protected areas of the diverse and productive Terai ecosystem, supporting many endangered species, obligate species of tall wet grasslands and species of restricted distribution

Kaziranga National Park is a world heritage site (declared in 1985 by UNESCO) and is famous for the Great Indian one horned rhinoceros (hosts two-thirds of world population)  Been declared as a National Park in 1974, Kaziranga is home to the highest density of tigers among protected areas in the world and was declared a Tiger Reserve in 2006. The park is home to a large breeding population of elephants, wild water buffalo, and swamp deer. Kaziranga is recognized as an Important bird area by BirdLife International for conservation of avifaunal species. Located on the edge of the Eastern Himalayas biodiversity hotspot, the park combines high species diversity and visibility.

Ranthambore Wildlife Reserve is known for its tigers and is one of the best places in India to watch animals in their natural habitat. Tigers can be easily spotted even in the Day time. The parks deciduous forests are characteristic examples of the type of jungle found in Central India. Other major animals include leopard, sloth bears, Sambhar deer, Nilgai, striped hyena, Rhesus macaque and Chital. Umred Pauni Karhandla Wildlife Sanctuary (UPKWLS) is situated 75 kms from the city of Nagpur. The jungle acts as an tiger corridor for some of the major tiger reserves such as Tadoba, Bor, Pench and Navegaon-Nagzira. Once known for its very famous tiger named 'Jaichand' as Asia's largest bengal tiger, the park is now known for its little cubs. Fairy, F2, X Mark female tigers dominate the areas along with their cubs. Patil male, N4 male tigers oversee their separate territories often giving an habitat shot to the photographers! Kalsubai with the height of 1646 m [5400 ft] is famous as its the highest peak of the Sahyadri Range as well as Maharashtra. It commands a beautiful view of the surrounding lush green territory. Since the route to Kalsubai peak is highly frequented, enough efforts have been made to make this trek easier. There are steel railings, chains and ladders at places where it is difficult to negotiate the terrain. Naneghat is a mountain pass in the Sahyadri range near Junnar. It stretches over the western ghats through an ancient stone laid hiking trail to the Naneghat plateau. This pass was an ancient trade route that linked the seaports of Sopara and Kalyan with the economic settlements in Nasik & Paithan. The name ‘nane’ means coin & ‘ghat’ means pass. This name was given since it was used as a toll booth to collect toll from traders crossing the hills. While travelling on Kalyan-Ahmednagar road, one can easily get a glimpse of a thumb-like peak called ‘Nanyacha angtha’ a little after Murbad.
