Overview

Named after famous god TAARU and river flowing through it. Dominated by Bamboo and Teakwood, this forest is a TIGER TEMPLE.

The jewel of Vidarbha and tiger gate of Maharashtra. From serene Kolara to awesome Telia and from Tadoba Lake to extended borders of Jamni, this park has everything to offer for any wildlife enthusiast. Chhoti Tara, Bijli, Sonam, Tara, Chhota Matkasur, Bhanuskhindi, Meera, Junabai, Mowgli, Xylo, are the most famous tigers of last 5 years in international photography and film circuit and without a doubt they are the real celebs of this park.

Kids Policy:

  • Kids below 5 years of age would not be charged any extra 
  • However, if you opt for a separate seat for the kids in the safari jeep, then it would be chargeable
  • Kids with age 5-12 years would be charged at a discounted price

Itinerary

Please note, the tour starts and ends from Nagpur railway station. Suggested trains include Vidarbha Exp/ Duranto Exp from Mumbai Central / CST. Participants taking flights to Nagpur will get a pick-up and drop support in a sedan or SUV vehicles on request and at an additional cost.

Day 1 : Upon arrival at Nagpur at 7:20 /8:55 am, participants will have breakfast and then leave for Tadoba (3 hours’ Drive). Kolara/Mohurli. At around noon, check in hotel and post lunch get ready for first jungle safari, followed by late evening meeting at hotel. Small Informative slide show.

Day 2 : Early morning wildlife safari followed by breakfast and discussion about sightings. Afternoon safari post lunch. After evening refreshments, informative session on Biodiversity followed by dinner.

Day 3 : Early morning wildlife safari. Post lunch, we will check out and reach Nagpur railway station/ airport (Shopping session in between) for return journey.
